HELLO
Greetings to fellow martialists, to those who enjoy reading about various martial arts, and those who have simply stumbled across this site in a search for something else.
My name is Jared Skye and I am the founder of a martial art known as Yom Chi. It is still in the extremely early and formative stages, but it's there, and I'm proud of it, so I'm putting a site online dedicated to it.
I am not a master of any martial art by any means what-so-ever. When it comes to martial arts, I'm nothing but that... a martial artist. Only I've decided to take the time to venture that extra step into my training to discover what lies beneath my own conventional thinking. I formed a martial art not only to have something to suit my own needs, but to help me search within myself to find answers to questions that would otherwise remain unanswered. Yom Chi does not give you rules on how to think as a martialist like most styles do... it merely gives you guidlines to help you along that path.
My name is Jared Skye and I am not a master. I'm a man looking for answers to questions that the arts available to be taught to me cannot offer.
